Valar hardware firewalls
Protect a network. Whatever its size.
Valar are hardware firewalls in four sizes. All models run the same software with the same protection features. They differ only in performance and form factor.
What it is about
A firewall decides what gets into the network.
Every company can be reached over the internet. The firewall sits at that boundary and inspects traffic in both directions: it lets through what is needed and blocks what looks suspicious.
Inside, it separates areas from each other, for example office and production. If an attacker gets into one area, they cannot simply move on to the next.
01 / Products
Four models. One way to manage them.
When you grow, you move to the next model and keep your rules and settings.

02 / Software
Everything included. No add-on modules.
Many vendors license features one by one. With Valar, the licence depends only on the model and the term.
Zone-based firewall
Rules by network segment, application and user. Office, production, guests and servers stay separate.
Intrusion prevention (IPS)
Known attacks are detected in network traffic and blocked before they reach systems on the network.
SSL inspection
Encrypted traffic can be inspected. For each zone you decide where this makes sense and where it does not.
VPN
Sites and mobile staff are connected over encrypted links, for example via IPsec.
Web filter
Access to malicious or unwanted websites is blocked by category.
NeoI
neonotu’s own AI detects unusual behaviour even where no signature exists yet.
03 / Origin
Developed in Europe.
- A
Software and updates from neonotu
neonotu supplies the software for all Valar models, maintains it and provides updates directly. The NeoI detection is neonotu’s own development.
- B
Data stays in the EU
Telemetry and management data are processed in Europe. This helps with data protection and with NIS2 requirements.
- C
Evidence for procurement
We provide technical data sheets and supply chain documentation for tenders and internal reviews.
04 / Solutions
Where Valar is used.
Medical practices
In Germany, practices must follow an IT security guideline that requires a firewall. Valar 1 covers this, including for several sites.
Mid-sized companies
Office, production and guests in separate zones, remote sites via VPN. Typically with two Valar 2 as a pair.
Critical infrastructure and public sector
High availability, traceable origin of the software and documentation for procurement.
Pilot program
Test Valar in your own network.
We provide pilot units to selected organisations. We first work out which model fits and then support the setup.
